CD AND DVD DUPLICATION

What is Duplication?
Duplication refers to the process of burning CD or DVD recordable discs using commercial grade CD and DVD disc burners.

DVD duplication or CD duplication is the best option if you require your job turned around quickly or have a small number of units to copy i.e. 10 to 300.(For production of 500 units or more we recommend "Pressing" your CDs or DVDs as it is more cost effective.)

So my discs will be duplicated not pressed like the record companies. Does this mean my product will be of poor quality?
The quality of duplicated discs is now comparable to pressed discs. In fact your CD duplication or DVD duplication job when completed will look and work as good as a commercially manufactured CD or DVD product.

As we use the latest automatic CD and DVD printing and duplication machines from the US and Europe the quality of our duplicated product is second to none.

Select Media's CD and DVD duplication processes also include quality controlled monitoring of all client finished products.

What Media is used when duplicating?
We use only "A Grade" Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden CD and DVD recordable media allowing us to offer a 100% guarantee on all our CD and DVD duplication work.

How are the discs printed?
The CD or DVD face can either be printed Mono (Black, Red or Blue only) or full colour. Both using a thermal printing process direct onto the face of the CD or DVD that provides a smudge and waterproof finish.

Direct on disc inkjet printing of your CD or DVD is also available for those budget jobs!

What packaging types can I have with duplicated discs?
Cases, sleeves, slicks, inserts and numerous packaging and printing options for your CDs and DVDs are available.

What is Laser printing?
We produce your paper parts on a high quality gloss paper which ensures that the colour is vibrant and the images are sharp. All paper parts are trimmed then assembled with your discs into professional quality cases, resulting in a cost effective, yet visually appealing product.

Our machines are regularly serviced to maintain our high level of output.

If you create these discs at your in-house facility at West End, how fast can I get my discs?
The turnaround time on most CD and DVD jobs is 3 to 4 working days but urgent jobs, including same day or while your wait, can be catered for.
